In 2000, retired Deputy Chief Jim Bullock and retired Firefighter Bob O'Brien founded NY Fire Consultants. It quickly became the fire and life safety consultant company for high quality residential buildings in and around New York. During their initial year, fire safety plans were required in all residential buildings. As a result, NY Fire Consultants has prepared the plans for over 500 NYC buildings.

After a Fifth Avenue residential building board was deeply concerned about building safety, NY Fire Consultants was asked to evaluate the building entirely and to provide building staff with fire and emergency training. The training was so well received, other clients asked us to provide customized presentations for their buildings. NY Fire Consultants can offer professionally prepared seminars for your building. Every presentation we make is customized specifically for your building.

Our seminars have been specifically designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of fire safety awareness and basic fire training for all staff. Our training provides the building manager and building staff with an overview of their roles in the event of a fire or emergency. It also provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to enable them to deal with small fires safely, by using portable fire extinguishers, and to develop an awareness of the dangers and causes of fire. Special attention, with our training, is given to non-fire emergencies, specifically, terrorism and suspicious letters and packages.
